‘Shourya’ Childhood Cancer Awareness Program was successfully held at TMA PAI Convetion Centre, Mangalore on 26th February 2026, promoting early detection, treatment, and support for pediatric cancer patients.

KMC Hospital, Mangaluru in association with the Tapasya and Lions International Dist 13D, successfully conducted ‘Shourya – Child Cancer Awareness Programme’ which was aimed at spreading awareness and educating the public about childhood cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.

The event was held at TMA PAI Convetion Centre, where leading child cancer specialist, healthcare professionals, and social activists came together to share valuable insights on various aspects of childhood cancer.

The programme featured informative sessions on the importance of regular screenings, early diagnosis, live testimony.

Lions Club members entertained the audience with dance performances, while Master Avirbhav, the special guest and winner of ‘Superstar Singer 3’, mesmerized the audience with his songs.

The event was well-attended by members of the community, healthcare professionals, and volunteers. The Tapasya Foundation, Lions Club, and KMC Hospital plan to make the Shourya Cancer Awareness Programme an annual event, with a commitment to expanding its reach and impact in the coming years.
