Remembering Jayram Sir – A Life Dedicated to Compassion and Service

With deep sadness, the Tapasya family remembers Jayram Sir, who joined Tapasya Foundation as a Philanthropy Consultant in 2024. His dedication, determination, and genuine compassion made him a valuable part of our mission to provide free palliative and hospice care to patients in need.

Based in Mumbai, Jayram Sir played an important role in connecting Tapasya with donors, patrons, and well-wishers across the country. Through his tireless efforts, he helped build valuable relationships that supported our work and strengthened our commitment to ensuring that patients receive care, comfort, and dignity.

A passionate long-distance cyclist, Jayram Sir lived a life marked by discipline, perseverance, and a strong desire to serve society. Even at an age when many choose to slow down, he continued to work with remarkable energy and enthusiasm. He travelled, met supporters, and built community connections, always keeping Tapasya’s mission close to his heart.

What made him truly special was his unwavering belief in the purpose of Tapasya. He worked selflessly, without seeking recognition or praise, driven by the hope that no patient should be denied care because of a lack of resources. His efforts helped bring support to our hospice and comfort to patients and families facing difficult times.

Jayram Sir’s passing on 15th October 2026 leaves a deep void in the hearts of everyone at Tapasya. While we mourn his loss, we remain grateful for his valuable contributions, his inspiring dedication, and the meaningful relationships he built for our cause.

Though his journey has come to an end, the impact of his work and the compassion he shared will continue to live on through the lives touched by Tapasya. His commitment to service will always remain an inspiration to our team.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

May his noble soul rest in eternal peace. 🙏
